Uniform Relocation Act Information Sessions

The Relocation of Holland Gardens Residents for the purpose of Revitalization of the site is expected to begin in Fall 2021 at the earliest. The relocation of Holland Gardens residents will fall under the guidelines of the “Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended” (commonly referred to as “URA”).

 

On July 23, 2019 the JCHA hosted a Uniform Relocation Act Information Session for Holland Gardens residents as well as community stakeholders and advocates. During this meeting, the JCHA aimed to:

• Provide an overview of the Uniform Relocation Act;

• Share JCHA’s obligations under the URA;

• and Inform residents on their rights under the URA
